Immunisation for travelling to Barbados

If you are unwell on return from travel, seek medical attention and let your healthcare practitioner know where you have been.

• Courses or boosters usually advised: None.
• Other vaccines to consider: Diphtheria, Hepatitis B and Tetanus.
• Selectively advised vaccines – only for those individuals at highest risk: Hepatitis A.
• Yellow fever vaccination certificate required for travellers aged 1 year or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission (with the exception of Guyana and the island of Trinidad unless an outbreak is occurring).
